It is the right panel if your power station can accept 350W of solar and the panel lives in a vehicle. Where I am coming from, plainly: I have not unfolded this panel or measured a day of its output, and I will not pretend otherwise. I research this gear rather than own it. The ingress rating: worth knowing before it rains

Bluetti’s Amazon listing headlines the panel as IP67 waterproof. Bluetti’s own product support page for the same panel lists IP65, and the listing’s own feature text describes it as designed to withstand “scratches and water splashes” — which is IP65 language, not IP67 language. IP65 means protected against water jets from any direction. IP67 means temporary immersion.

We cannot resolve which is correct from published sources, so the safe reading is the conservative one: treat the Bluetti PV350 as rain-resistant, not submersible, and do not leave the MC4 connectors sitting in a puddle. That is sensible practice with any folding panel regardless of the badge on the box.

What 350W is actually for

Bigger panels do not just charge faster; they change what is possible. A 350W panel in decent conditions realistically delivers something in the region of 230–290W at midday and perhaps 1.4–1.9kWh across a good summer day — our estimate, not Bluetti’s. That is enough to refill a 1kWh power station in an afternoon rather than over two days, which is the difference between solar being your power source and solar being a trickle top-up.

The catch, and the reason this Bluetti PV350 review keeps coming back to it, is the input ceiling on whatever you plug the panel into. Bluetti lists compatibility with the AC70, AC180, AC240, AC200L, Elite 200 V2, AC300 with B300K, and AC500 with B300K. Feeding 350W into a station whose solar input tops out at 200W does not break anything — the station simply refuses the surplus — but you have paid for watts you cannot use. Check the station’s maximum solar input before buying this panel, not after.

Bluetti PV350 review: where it is hard to live with

The weight is the honest problem. 30.6 lb is more than Renogy’s 200W glass-and-aluminium solar suitcase, which comes in at 28.46 lb — and that one is built from tempered glass. You are carrying a fabric-and-ETFE panel that weighs more than a rigid one, because there is simply a lot of it.

Folded it measures 35.6 by 24.1 inches. That is nearly a metre on the long edge, and it does not disappear into a car boot alongside camping gear the way a 100W panel does. Unfolded it is over 2.4 metres of panel that needs somewhere flat and sunny to sit, and it catches wind like a sail. Neither point is a defect; both are what 350W of folding panel unavoidably looks like.

The last one is small but annoying: the box contains the panel and a manual. If your power station is not a Bluetti, budget for the correct MC4 adapter lead before the panel arrives.

Best for: vehicle-based off-grid setups — overlanding, van life, long boondocking — where the panel travels by wheel rather than by hand and the power station can genuinely take 350W of input.

Skip if: your power station caps solar input below 350W, you need to carry the panel any distance, or storage space is tight — two smaller panels wired in parallel give you the same watts in packages you can actually handle.

How the Bluetti PV350 compares

Against Bluetti’s own PV200, this is 75% more power for roughly 50% more weight, which is a good trade on paper and a worse one every time you move it. Two PV200s give you 400W in two carryable pieces and let you leave one behind on a short trip — a genuinely underrated advantage.
